The basic Simrad NSO15 package consists of the powerful NSO processor, a DI15 15” monitor, the OP40 wired remote and a dash-mounted SD card reader and provides a premium chartplotter with embedded regional cartography straight out of the box.  From there the owner can then choose from Simrad Yachting’s extensive range of performance modules (black box instruments designed to be connected to control and display units) and create the integrated navigation system to suit his needs, all controlled and monitored from his Simrad NSO via fully-customisable displays.  Modules and screens can be added or replaced at any time.

The NSO15 package is great for large yachts and workboats that value the versatility of big screen, multifunction displays and flexible networking for state-of-the-art offshore navigation. NSO users can operate up to three screens from a single processor and enjoy the very latest in radar, sounder and chartplotter technology from Simrad Yachting.

Simrad Yachting modules currently available include radar (Broadband 3G™ Radar and HD Digital), EchoSounders (Broadband BSM-1, BSM-2 and StructureScan™), autopilot, AIS, Weather, VHF radio, SonicHub™ entertainment and marine instruments.
